We’ve simply returned from a break to the Yorkshire Dales, which is a favorite a part of England for each of us.
We stayed within the fairly little village of Aysgarth, in Wensleydale, in a extremely pretty B & B, which we will certainly return to once more within the close to future.
From our B & B, after a full cooked breakfast every single day, we travelled everywhere in the Dales, and visited some lovely countryside.
We tried plenty of native produce, akin to native cheeses and ales, and loved some fabulous pub grub within the evenings.
We’re each avid followers of the entire James Herriot books, and the TV sequence All Creatures Nice and Small, and we beloved seeing all of the areas used within the newest Channel 5 sequence.
Additionally, as a prepare dinner, recipe creator and lover of meals, it’s fascinating seeing what Mrs Corridor serves to James, Siegfried, Tristan and Helen within the TV sequence.
Apparently, she is known for her buttery Shortbread biscuits, in addition to her full cooked English breakfasts, Sunday Roasts and her Dales Excessive Teas too.
I’m a BIG fan of a correct Excessive Tea myself, in addition to my Sunday Tea Trays that are all the time featured each week on Instagram right here: Sunday Tea Tray Suppers.
